GoEng Girl 2015

FSAE attends 11th annual Go Eng Girl

On Saturday, October 17th, 2015 The University of Toronto Engineering Outreach Office hosted the 11th annual Go Eng Girl, organized in partnership with the Ontario Network of Women in Engineering (ONWiE). This event welcomed 100 enthusiastic young girls from grades 7 to 10 to explore opportunities in engineering through hands-on activities and information sessions to help them in the future when choosing the engineering school that is right for them. If you missed out on this event but you would be interested to have a go at engineering, then you could take a look at engineering homework help to give you more information on the subject. The Formula SAE Racing Team had the honour of being a part of this event. The team’s manager, Amanda Persuad, along with team members Ibbtida Saiyara Khan and Parastou Hadizadeh talked about the FSAE team and answered questions on topics such as what inspired them to choose engineering and their experiences as UofT Engineering students.  The team also set up a racing simulator to give the girls and their families the experience of driving an actual race car. The FSAE team would like to thank the Engineering Student Outreach Office (ESOO) for putting together this event and inviting us be a part of it. We would also like to thank all other team members who helped us throughout the day.
